Thanks to some unique attachment choices, the Welgun can best the MP40’s firepower in Warzone Pacific Season 2 Reloaded.

A Warzone content creator has revealed a Welgun loadout with secret attachments, allowing the SMG’s firepower to rival the popular MP40.

While using the most popular attachments on top Warzone weapons is always a great strategy, sometimes it pays off to experiment with different builds. Warzone Pacific content creator Metaphor often tweaks attachments in order to maximize a weapon’s potential.

The Warzone expert recently did so with the MP40 and claimed that it was the best SMG in the game. However, a few unique attachment choices for the Welgun can elevate the weapon’s firepower allowing it to rival the MP40.

The Welgun is considered one of the best SMGs in Warzone Pacific Season 2 Reloaded. Rankings are sure to change when the major Season 3 update rolls around, but for now the Welgun, MP40, and Owen Gun are the top three options.

There’s very little to separate the three weapons at the moment but when it comes to popularity, the MP40 is the clear favorite as the current most used weapon in Warzone.

However, Warzone expert Metaphor has created the perfect Welgun loadout that proves the SMG deserves more appreciation.

While some of Metaphor’s preferred attachments like the Recoil Booster and Lengthened ammo are standard for the Welgun, others are unique selections that enhance the weapon’s firepower and speed.

Perhaps the most impactful change comes by equipping the 240mm Hockenson 43 barrel instead of the 320mm SA Shrouded. This barrel limits damage falloff when aiming at distant targets and it also increases limb damage.

The attachment essentially makes the Welgun hit really hard at the cost of some recoil control which is a similar quality to the MP40. Since damage doesn’t drop off at range you can use this Welgun as the perfect Sniper support weapon.

Another thing you’ll notice is insane strafe speed thanks to the Groove Grip and SA 43 Folding stock. This incredible speed makes the weapon just as dangerous up close, meaning you’ll win more gunfights thanks to its astounding strafe capabilities.

Vanguard and Warzone Pacific Season 3 brings the new H4 Blixen SMG, so here’s how you’ll be able to unlock it when it arrives.

The H4 Blixen SMG is one of the brand-new weapons arriving during Vanguard and Warzone Pacific Season 3, so here’s when it’s set to arrive and how you’ll be able to unlock it.

Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone Pacific Season 3 is almost here, bringing new maps, Operators, and of course, new weapons. The M1916 Marksman Rifle and the Nikita AVT Assault Rifle will arrive as part of the Battle Pass, but one more SMG is set to arrive later.

‘Classified Arms’ is Season 3’s theme, and for now, the devs really are keeping the upcoming H4 Blixen SMG classified. However, they have told us when it’s set to arrive, so here’s how you’ll be able to unlock it in both Warzone and Vanguard Season 3.

The H4 Blixen won’t be available until Vanguard and Warzone Season 3’s mid-season update, where it can be unlocked for free through an SMG-based challenge or a Store Bundle.

Each Vanguard season has brought a new SMG in the Reloaded update, such as the Welgun in Season 1 and the Armaguerra in Season 2 Reloaded. These two weapons quickly became powerhouses, so we expect the H4 Blixen to be the same.

The devs haven’t revealed much about the Blixen yet —  they haven’t even shown us what it looks like. But they did tease that it uses “a 9 x 19 mm cartridge and shares some design techniques with the Sten and PPSh-41.” We should get more information in the run-up to the Season 3 Reloaded update.

For more on Warzone and Vanguard Season 3, you can check out everything we know about Operation Monarch, which brings Godzilla and King Kong to Caldera along with map changes.

Godzilla and Kong are set to arrive in Warzone as part of Season 3’s Operation Monarch event, so here are all the details.

Warzone’s developers have officially confirmed Godzilla and King Kong’s arrival in Caldera as part of Season 3’s Operation Monarch event. Here’s everything you need to know about the Godzilla vs Kong event, including the release date and what to expect.

Godzilla vs King Kong’s arrival in Warzone Season 3 has been heavily teased for a couple of weeks now, with players first hearing Godzilla’s roar at the end of the first Season 3 teaser trailer. Since then, teasers have shown Godzilla on its way to Caldera and a huge King Kong-sized skeleton found at a dig site.

Now, as part of Vanguard and Warzone’s Season 3 roadmap, the devs have officially confirmed Operation Monarch, the Godzilla vs Kong event. This limited-time event brings the two classic movie monsters to Warzone, so here’s everything we know so far, including the release date and what to expect.

Warzone’s Operation Monarch Godzilla vs Kong event will kick off on May 11 at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM BST, two weeks after Season 3’s launch.

We expect many more teasers to appear in Warzone Season 3 and Call of Duty’s social channels in the run-up to the event, so stay tuned.

Call of Duty Warzone’s Operation Monarch is a “special limited-time event featuring the iconic Titans of the Monsterverse, Godzilla and Kong.”

The devs confirmed that Operation Monarch will bring a “new game mode for Quads based on several classic experiences with a titan-sized twist,” but they haven’t revealed any more details.

Although Operation Monarch doesn’t go live until a couple of weeks after Season 3 kicks off, Caldera will undergo some changes in preparation.

There will be “ancient artifacts, Monarch Research equipment and tents,” as well as “a massive glowing axe jutting out of the ground right near the Resort.” Huge monster-sized bones are also being unearthed at the new Dig Site POI between Mines and Ruins.

The devs also showed off a couple of the Operation Monarch Operator skins we can expect to see in Vanguard and Warzone for the event.

These Operator skins give players Godzilla and Kong-themed outfits, with masks resembling the two titans. This is all we’ve seen of these bundles so far, but we expect more details over the next couple of weeks.

You can check out the Operation Monarch teaser trailer, which sets the stage for Godzilla and Kong’s epic battle over Caldera.

Godzilla vs Kong isn’t the only collaboration to hit Warzone recently, as you can also purchase Snoop Dogg as a playable Operator with unique voice lines.

New data has revealed that a forgotten Black Ops Cold War Assault Rifle boasts the fastest TTK in Warzone Pacific.

Warzone features a plethora of fast-killing weapons, and new data has revealed that one forgotten Black Ops Cold War Assault Rifle has the fastest TTK in the game.

Warzone’s TTK (Time-To-Kill) went through some major changes in Season 2 Reloaded, with player health being buffed to 150 in Caldera, making it more difficult to quickly eliminate your opponents.

If you want to bring down your enemies fast then you’ll need to choose a powerful weapon, and new Warzone data has highlighted a forgotten Black Ops Cold War Assault Rifle with an insanely high TTK.

Call of Duty expert JGOD compared the stats of Warzone’s long-range guns in Caldera and his charts showed the Black Ops Cold War EM2 to be the lowest TTK viable weapon with a kill time of 788 milliseconds.

The EM2 has been out of most players’ memories in recent times, but pro player Isaac ‘IceManIsaac’ Hamilton tried out the weapon for the first time and was extremely impressed with how quickly it was able to take down the opposition.

He stated that while the weapon isn’t as fast as the XM4, it still “absolutely beams” thanks to its impressive fire rate which makes it pack a serious punch. The Warzone pro claimed that the gun kills faster than anything else in the game.

The Agency Suppressor and 25.8″ Task Force barrel boost both the damage range and recoil control of the EM2 Assault Rifle, while the Axial Arms 3x optic allows you to pick off enemies from a distance.

The Field Agent Grip provides a further boost to recoil control so that the weapon can be more accurate, and the 40 Rnd Drum ensures that you have plenty of ammo to take out multiple enemies quickly.

This weapon loadout allowed IceManIsaac to secure a whopping 26 kills in a single game, so be sure to try out the Cold War EM2 Assault Rifle the next time you jump into Caldera or Rebirth Island.
