CLEVELAND, Ohio – The first two times Rush played Cleveland, the band was nothing more than an afterthought.

In just its second American show, Rush performed for less than 30 minutes while opening for ZZ Top at Allen Theatre on June 28, 1974. Two weeks later, Rush played another modest set on tour with Uriah Heap at Cleveland’s Public Auditorium.
